The wedding of Peta & Mark was probably the wettest and wildest wedding weather I’ve encountered. But it did nothing to dampen the love in the room both for and between these two.

With the ceremony location moved inside, Peta’s friends rolled up their sleeves to style the room at Long Reef Golf Club to perfection. With the glass doors providing a stormy outlook onto Fisherman’s Beach the scene was set.

Peta arrived, made a dash from the car in an effort to stay dry and entered the room to walk down the aisle to ‘Old Pine’ by Ben Howard.

She joined fellow teacher Mark where they exchanged traditional wedding vows and were joined together as husband and wife.

When you’re as easy-going as Peta & Mark and cloaked in the overwhelming love you feel on your wedding day it wasn’t surprising that the relentless rain and howling wind didn’t bother this couple too much. Their photos were taken in a nearby studio by the very talented Helen Coetzee from Co&Co Photography.
