I’m Katrina, Celebrant, MC, storyteller and lover of all love.

After growing up on Sydney’s Northern Beaches, I have called the hinterland town of Bangalow home since 2014.

Before I became a celebrant, I was a Marketing & Events Manager in the action sports industry, so I’m a big fan of snow-life and have spent many years snowboarding around the world.

When it comes to down-time, you’ll find me with my husband, three kids and our dog, either at the beach, or on the soccer sidelines.

I love catching up with family & friends, going to see live music, kicking back at sundown with a gin & tonic and remembering to pause and have gratitude for being able to live in this incredible part of the world.

After 14 years and more than 800 ceremonies, one thing has always been clear: no two couples are the same; and that’s what shapes my approach.   • Step 1. Book a Connection Call & Let’s Chat

    A short video call is a great chance for us to get to know one another. I gain an idea of the type of wedding you envisage, you can get an insight into my style and process. 

    Step 2. Confirm your booking

    Payment of the 50% booking fee confirms your booking and secures me for your big day. The balance is due 4 weeks out from your ceremony date.

    Step 3. Lodge your Notice of Intended Marriage form

    This must be lodged with your marriage celebrant at least one month before your ceremony date. I will provide the necessary form with instructions.

    I will also need to sight proof of birth documentation (passports or original birth certificates) and if you’ve been married before, I’ll need to see any relevant divorce or death certificates.

    Step 4. Create Your Dream Ceremony

    5 x months out from your ceremony, I will give you access to my Planning Portal - this is where you’ll find modern ideas, inspo & the tools to create a unique ceremony that feels authentic to you.

    My Couples Questionnaire enables you to spill the beans so that I can uncover the details around your love story, weaving those beautiful insights into a captivating ceremony, written just for you.

    Step 5: Vow Writing

    Use my comprehensive Vow Writing guide to write heartfelt vows.

    Step 6. Let’s Make It Happen

    In the days before, we’ll meet for a pre-ceremony catch up / casual rehearsal, completing the last legal forms, giving you lots of tips and chatting through ceremony details. On the day, I arrive 40 minutes early with my wireless PA system ready to share your beautiful story and officially declare the two of you married!

    Step 7. Knot Tied

    All legal documents are lodged with the Registry of Births, Deaths and Marriages.
